These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Zorzen Studios (“FanLens”, “we”, “us”), governing your use of FanLens at https://fanlens.app and https://web.fanlens.app (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these Terms.
2. The Service
FanLens lets you upload a photo and uses artificial intelligence to place you into a fan scene, which you can share via a link or QR code. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate, imperfect, or not what you expected. The Service is provided on an ongoing basis and we may add, change or remove features.
3. Your account
We use passwordless email sign-in. You are responsible for the email account you use to sign in and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Your content and the rights you grant
You retain all rights you already hold in the photos you upload. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process (including transmitting to our AI provider), reproduce and display your photos and the resulting images solely to operate, secure and improve the Service and to provide the sharing features you choose to use.
You represent and warrant that, for every photo you upload, you:
- are the person shown, or have the explicit consent of every identifiable person shown;
- have all rights necessary to upload it and to grant the licence above; and
- will not upload images of anyone under 16.
As between you and us, you may use the images you generate, subject to these Terms, applicable law, and Google’s Gemini API terms. You are solely responsible for how you use and share generated images.
5. Acceptable use
You agree that you will not use the Service to:
- upload a photo of any person without their consent, or any image of a minor;
- create content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that sexualises any person;
- impersonate or deceive — for example, creating misleading “deepfake” imagery intended to defraud, harass or mislead;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity or other rights;
- break the law, or facilitate anything illegal or harmful;
- probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent the security or rate limits of the Service.
Because FanLens uses Google’s Gemini AI, you must also comply with Google’s Generative AI Prohibited Use Policy. We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section.
6. AI-generated content
Generative AI is probabilistic: output may be inaccurate, may not resemble you, and similar results may be produced for other users. You are responsible for reviewing output before you rely on or share it. We make no warranty that output is fit for any particular purpose.
7. Plans, billing and renewals
- Free — limited use; drops are deleted after ~24 hours.
- Pro — a recurring subscription (monthly or annual) that automatically renews until cancelled.
- Drop Pack — a one-time purchase of credits; unused credits expire 12 months after purchase.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown at checkout and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required; we may change prices on a prospective basis with notice. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.
8. Right of withdrawal and refunds
If you are a consumer in the EU, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. By starting AI generation, you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose this right of withdrawal once generation has begun. This does not affect any mandatory statutory rights that cannot be waived, including remedies for a Service that is faulty or not as described. For billing questions, email support@fanlens.app.
9. Intellectual property
The FanLens name, logos, software, design and content (excluding your photos and outputs) are owned by Zorzen Studios or its licensors and are protected by law. These Terms grant you no right to use our trademarks without our prior written permission.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties (including Google, Stripe and Supabase). Your use of AI and payment features is also governed by those providers’ terms, and we are not responsible for their services.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the licences you granted end, except as needed for backups, legal compliance, or to defend claims.
12. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that output will be accurate.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zorzen Studios will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of profits, data or goodwill. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or €50. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your non-waivable consumer rights.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Zorzen Studios harmless from claims, damages and reasonable costs arising out of content you upload or generate, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any third party’s rights.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, give reasonable notice. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and disputes will be subject to the competent courts of the Netherlands. If you are a consumer, you also benefit from any mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, and may have access to the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
17. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor.
