2. Our approach
FanLens keeps cookies to a minimum. We use only what is strictly necessary to run the Service and to process payments. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
3. Cookies we use
Strictly necessary — authentication & security
- Supabase auth cookies (e.g.
sb-access-token,sb-refresh-token) — keep you signed in and maintain a secure session. Without these, sign-in does not work. Typically expire when your session ends or is refreshed. - Session & security tokens — protect against fraud and maintain session integrity.
Strictly necessary — payments
- Stripe cookies (e.g.
__stripe_mid,__stripe_sid) — set during checkout to process payments securely and prevent fraud. Set by our payment processor when you make a purchase.
Analytics (optional, with consent where required)
- Google Analytics 4 (
_ga,_ga_*) — helps us understand how visitors use https://fanlens.app and https://web.fanlens.app (pages viewed, general traffic). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking features.
Authentication and payment cookies are essential to deliver a service you have requested and, under the ePrivacy rules, do not require consent. Analytics cookies are only used where we have a lawful basis (typically your consent in the EEA/UK).
4. Consent
Because we use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in and payments, those work without a consent banner. Where analytics cookies apply, we ask for your consent first in regions that require it and update this policy when our tooling changes.
